OUR TEAM

Kurt is a native Council Bluffsian. He has put his heart and soul into continuing the spirit of the Crowl business. He works tirelessly to make sure owners, their investments and tenants are well taken care of. Kurt has worked as a real estate agent since 2002, broker since 2007, general contractor, and professional property manager. He has spent his life acquiring the skills: electrical, plumbing, landscaping and general construction for a lifetime in property management. When he is not trouble-shooting the multiple complexities of property management, he can be found playing basketball with his son, watching bad movies with his daughter and hanging out on his front stoop talking about everything important in life with his wife.

Amy is the third generation of the Crowl Real Estate/Property Management family business. She was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Amy can often be found in the office co-managing the business with her husband, Kurt and making sure all the books balance and every penny is accounted for. She has worked hard to fill the office with so many of her favorite people and feels incredibly grateful that there is such an outstanding team carrying on her grandfather’s, father’s and uncle ‘s legacies. When she is not at Crowl Property Management, she is in private practice as a psychotherapist in Omaha. She received her Bachelor’s in Science from Drake University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking in Colorado and spending time with her family who she adores. Amy cares passionately that all who come through the door of Crowl Property Management feel cared about and are treated with kindness and integrity!

Maya is the 4th generation of the Crowl family business-Kurt and Amy’s daughter and Bud’s granddaughter. She is a bill paying machine… making sure all contractors get paid in a timely fashion. When she is not at the office, she is studying International Studies and Spanish at college and writing amazing poetry.

Bud is Amy’s father and the 2nd generation of the family business. He also pays bills with gusto, brings delicious donuts to keep morale up, keeps all the receipts in order and talks with everyone who may come into the office. He has received the Crowl Volunteer of the Year Award for the last 10 years. Amy and Kurt are so grateful for all the wisdom and expertise he shares from his 65 years of experience in the business.

Minda has worked for Crowl Property Management for more than three years. Prior to joining the business, she had not spent much time in Council Bluffs, but quickly grew to love the city and its people. She loves working for a small family business where she gets to make time to keep up with what’s going on in the lives of tenants and everyone else in the Crowl community. She does a little bit of everything in the office, from answering phones to signing leases to troubleshooting maintenance issues. Her favorite thing is to play “matchmaker,” setting people up with the perfect home to fit all their needs. When she’s not working, you can find her photographing baseball games, or at home with her rescue dogs, cat, and husband Mark.
